Marble Hill House is an elegant 18th century villa which borders on the Thames very near to Richmond.It has been recently transformed with hand painted Chinese wall paper in its dining parlour.The property was originally built for Henrietta Howard the mistress of George 11.

Visit this amazing and remarable house where Charles Darwin the Victorian scientist revolutionised the world with his groundbreaking theory regading evolution.I was touched by his spirit when I visited this place to see the room where the origins of the species was written.There are extensive interactive exhibitions on Darwin's life and theories and will captivate all age groups.
