Been in there, bit of a posh charity shop. Don’t bother donating videos, note on the door mentions that they don’t want any videos as the disposal cost is a waste of money.

Local store, seems to have everything, though I’m sure someone will dispute this. Very friendly staff.

I use this pub regulary, being a rugby fan. It has a great atmostphere on the game days and I like it when there is a clash with the football and they get confined to a small area. Come on Rugby. The manager/owner knows most of his regulars by first names and he is always happy. The real ale is very good. He doesn’t sell food at all, but the crowds still come in. There is a covered area out the back with a large screen, which can be hired for parties.
Update: They now do Sunday roast, usually beef & lamb.
Another update: It is under new management, still a rugby pub. Now serves toasted sandwiches.

The old building has now been demolished and a new modern looking one has arisen, I haven’t been inside, but I thought you may like to see the new building design. I prefer the old facade.

This is what the new building looks like. Very plain and no character. Hope the inside is better.

Not sure how to clasiffy this place, it has an area for local produce, a garden centre area, a sort of supermarket area sell ing clothes , saddlery, pet food and lots of other stuff. It is well worth visiting. Even if you don’t know what you want, I’m sure you will come away with something.
