Wonderful grounds with really fab free summer concerts! The residents had the concerts banned the year before last but I’m thrilled that the concerts were back on last summer and will be next. Kenwood house is gorgeous too! Great for a ramble around a mansion. At Christmas time they have some great stuff on sale in the shop.

Fantastic place to go swimming in the summer outdoors. The water is cold but on a sunny day it’s fab. You can, if you are a winter swimming fanatic - there are lots out there :) join the winter swimming club at the mixed ponds. The club swims all year round frost or no frost!

Wonderful Thai food here. Good atomosphere inside and great service. Has fast delivery in the Hampstead area too. If you love Thai food this place is great!

Wonderful gallery with some seriously incredible shows. I particularly enjoyed an exhibition of Hammershoi. Now they have an exhibition of Miro on. Really good.

This place has a wonderful collection and is full of experts too! If you’ve uncovered a dusty antique at home, been digging up the garden or crawling about the Southwestern Sahara and want to know what exactly you’ve found ask at the desk for the department reading rooms. Experts will see people with thier antiques once a week. Either make an appointment or walk in on the given days. I took in an amazing Newari Necklace and they told me all about it, gave me an incredible reading list and sent me off with a smile! Bring out the antiquarian super sleuth in you!

Really great comic book shop in central London opposite the British Museum. Has good stock and really helpful staff.

A catacomb of underground vaults full of silver! If you haven’t been - seeing is believing. Check out vault 29 :)

This is a pretty groovy place! Where in London will you find a whole street on both sies selling diamonds, gold and precious stones? Holts is great for stones. There is an assayer on the street to. So if you’re looking for a ring, want one valued or sold this is a pretty interesting place to check out!
