Olympiastadion - Westend

Olympischer Platz 3, 14053 Berlin

04-02-2008

I came here before they re-did it and it was a terrible mess, water dripping from everywhere! But I loved it, does it have those amazing statues outside still? I often wondered if they took them down. It had a kind of faded glamour about it, which has probably been lost now.

Scott's - Mayfair

This is my favorite restaurant in town. I love it. The service is fantastic and the food is second to none. The oyster bar is great when you're just out with friends, very laid back and proper Colchester oysters - amongst a wider selection. The restaurant is fabulous for a good night out. They do a great monkfish, and their wine list is spectacular - I had the most amazing Meursault when I went Thursday, and I wish I'd have asked for the label. They have the most amazing art collection in there too. It's expensive, but well worth it. I go to J Sheekey a lot too, but out of both of them I think you get more value for money here. Good place to take someone you care about a lot!!!

KX Chelsea - Chelsea

151 Draycott Avenue, Chelsea, London SW3 3AL

As I've said before, I've been a member for some time and I love this place. It isn't just the fantastic facilities, or the amazing decor, or the fact that they launder your gym stuff....It may be expensive to join, but I guess you get what you pay for. The decor is second to none, the cafe has an amazing range of great food, and the personal services are just great. I've been doing Intensive Core Pilates now for ages, and also Vinyasa Yoga. I may have Daniel Craig in my class, but it is honestly the best I have ever had. The personal trainers are second to none, and they have a fantastic body area with a great spa - their ultimate indulgance is just amazing. I LOVE THIS PLACE

Boujis - South Kensington

43 Thurloe Street, South Kensington, London SW7 2LQ

I love Boujis, and have been a member for a while. The only downsides are the occaisional crowd of Traders, and the quite rough door policy to members guests. I've been to Amika once or twice, but definitly prefer this place for the beautiful people.

Paddyman I think I would implode if I had to spend a nano second breathing the same condensation as you in that sweaty pit, but, you gotta respect the diversity!

Think of Boujis as a cattle pen rather than an establishment and be assuaged it's for their own good, really.

Andrew Hunter Classic from Paddyman.

St Pancras International Station - Kings Cross

This place was soooo fabulous. I just love the fact it’s all been re-done, when a few years ago it was going to be demolished. The Architecture is fabulous, and the facilities are second to none. It also (apparently) takes less time to get to Paris now..but I was so blown away by it all I can’t say I noticed…Good re-generation for a messed up part of town too.

London City airport - Londres

Royal Docks, London E16 2PB

London City Airport is rather fabulous, but for sheer architectural style you cant beat Copenhagen Airport...it has to be the most fabulous in Europe (the fact that I'm half Dansk hasn't influenced me in the slightest)

Wappingpsycho I have to agree! I made almost monthly trips to Copenhagen for the last year and never minded when my return flights were delayed… more time to take in the sights and sounds of CPH airport. It’s simply stunning :-)
