I have began attending the open mic nights and taking part, and it is a great place to try out new material. On a Sunday night the atmosphere is very chilled and the people are very friendly and respectful of what you are trying to accomplish artistically. One reason in itself to go down is to hear the great material produced by the host! It is kind of difficult to label a tag on his style exactly but I would say that he is a great guitarist with a great voice, whose music is somewhat comedic in nature. And believe me some of his songs are hilarious!

My personal experience involves recently having my electro-acoustic Fender guitar repaired in this shop. I took it in in the busy christmas and new year period so I wasn't expecting a rapid turn-around. I think 2 weeks considering the time of year is perfectly acceptable. Especially as I wasn't quite sure whether the wiring was actually repairable.

As well as offering a repair service there is a wide array of musical instruments in the store, from saxophones to electric guitars and a great selection of music books with which to learn from.

A very busy musical lessons facility also operates in this establishment teaching singing and guitar. I have not experienced this but rates start from £16 an hour which is pretty good.

As a child I used the Sovereign centre for many activities. People had many birthday parties there, I used to attend various youth clubs there, and also partook in Judo. There are many happy memories for me of that place!

It's main foundation is a youth club, to give kids somewhere to go. There is an outdoor concrete five a side football facility, indoor climbing frame and trampoline. I used to love mucking around on the climbing frame. There is also a small pitch with mats down that I used to spend ages on, making spectacular saves!

As an adult the main facilities to be used are the Judo and karate clubs. The judo club is well established and holds sessions on a Wednesday and Friday evenings. Judo is a great sport, which teaches many things, and provides an excellent workout. As a former member I would definitely say that it is particuarly worth going down there as they cater for all abilities in a welcoming, friendly manner.

Reigate is full of restaurants. Ask is one of the more classier establishments. When I was last here I was in a group of 10 people. The service provided by the waiting team was excellent, and we were not left waiting for too long.

As a restaurant it tends to favour an Italian menu, focusing on pizza and pasta. I went for the spaghetti carbonara and was mightily impressed. I always think a sign of a good restaurant is the fact that one is left adequately filled, but yet is still salivating for more.

It is probably an ideal type of romantic restaurant date type thing, as the setting and the mood of the lighting account for that in my view. But it is still a good place to go in a group, with a tasty menu.

There are two pharmacies virtually opposite each other in Woodhatch. I prefer this one. It is a lot more friendly than the big pharmacies that one finds located as a department within a supermarket.

For me personally I have not had any particuarly complicated problems to deal with, mainly picking up prescriptions, but they have always provided them to me correctly and in time. I also buy such things as you would buy in a pharmacy such as vitamins and plasters.

AS I said earlier this establishment has all your pharmaceutical needs, but it is a local shop.

As is common thesedays the place advertised as STROUD Kebab house provides a wide range of takeaway food. I was really hungry, and at first I went in for a portion of chips. I had no complaints there, as they were hot and pretty crunchy. I then decided to get a take-away pizza for £3.90. Obviously they are not up to Domino's/Pizza Hut standard, but for what it was it was great. Cheese was not ideal, and the sauce was not that tasty.

However this takeaway is located opposite the main nightclub in town. When you are exiting in a state worse for wear I imagine that this takeaway will adequately take care of your hunger. You may not finish it all, but it is a clean well kept establishment, and that is really all you ask for with nightclub takeaways.

I was in town for a weekend and on a last minute decision decided that I wanted a place to stay instead of making a two hour drive. As I contacted the hotel at 8pm, it was lucky there were places. A room for the night cost me £30.

On the whole this is a cheap and adequate Bed and Breakfast. You are provided for £30 with a basic room with a tv, shower/toilet and a cupboard. I was tired from the exertions of the day, and I had a great nights sleep on a satisfactory matress. The full cooked breakfast provided on the Sunday was perfectly tasty, and though I didn't have any extra needs I was dealt with in a polite manner.

If you are trapped in Stroud and need a cheap and cheerful place to stay, there is nothing wrong with the London hotel.

When I was last in here I went for my normal choice in an Indian takeaway of Chicken Tikka Masala, and all the normal extras. I figure that is one dish I know will be ok. The quality of the meat was average, but the sauce was pretty nice, probably a bit too thick for my liking though. The poppadoms and the kema naan bread were delicious though, as were the samosas.

When I was in here it was in a group of 15 people, on a Saturday night. A polite bunch of people, but on the whole I imagine they are the sort of crowds which are a bit intimidatory to your regular indian restauranteer. However we were dealt with in the most courteous manner, and the service was reasonably quick as well. This place is also beautifully lit by a succession of lamps, and a decor thata includes comfortable white sofas in the waiting area.

This place is a small place that provides television and audio equipment, rather like a small version of Dixons or Curry's but with that local touch. The stuff that I personally generally buy here is headphones and batteries. My earphones are good-quality ones and the price I paid for them is comparable to the price that you pay in Dixons for example. This place also can deal with repairs, I have had a TV repaired in here and not had any complaints with the television till it was replaced

For me and my family personally we mainly use this store for buying manure, and annually buying our Christmas tree. We bought a shed here once, many years ago, but we don't really use it anymore. The shed was a good quality piece of equipment though.

This store also features a coffee shop. In regard to the Christmas trees there is a wide selection of various sized trees. It is best to get in there early, but if the situation gets desperate on Christmas eve and you have to rush down there (as we have done many a year) the selection is not as varied, but still you can pick up a good quality tree.

This shop is ideal for any garden equipment that you may need for your garden, and such things as plants and flowers.
