This is the home of the Bronze Age Boat. It is kept presevered in a glass box. There are interactive exibits to get the children more involved in learning. At least once a month they have special activity days to take the children to.

I have been with Baileys for a number of years and the staff have always been friendly. When choosing new glasses they always give an honest opinion on what styles suit you rather on earging you to buy the most expensive pair in the shop. They will ask you what your budget is and find you some well within your perice range. They have made my children comfortable about visiting the opticians and made it a game when they were very little. they have books suitalbe for the little one to look at whist they are waiting to be seen.

This is a great little cafe to go for a cuppa or a meal on weekdays. The staff are friendly. The only drawback it can be very busy when the adult education classes are having a break. If you are a member of staff at the Discovery Centre they give a staff discount on drinks.

I use this pub on a Saturday night when there is kareoke night. There are beer gardens as well as a burger van outside. They do not have real ales on tap but as a ale drinker it doesn’t bother me. I quite often meet up with my family in the evening for a quiet drink on a Friday night. the floorboards are bare giving it a rustic feel. the bar staff are friendly and the manager will stop for a chat with all the customers. Any complaints are dealt with straight away.

I have used the Hong Kong for nearly 20 years. I have always found the staff to be friendly and are willing to adapt the ingredients as I have mild food allergies. The kitchens always seem to be clean and tidy.

If you were looking for traitional toys then you had to look no further than Gamleys. It is a pity that this ahas had to close down. I was a regular customer at Christmas.

I have been using this store since it opened quite a few years ago. The shoes are always good value for money. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. They also will measure your childrens feet if you ask them. There are a wide range of styles to chose from for all the family, adults and children alike.
