Spent an early Sunday evening in the pub in June 2010. Reasonably well kept beer, no hot food just sandwiches. Spent most of the evening in the garden at rear. A very relaxed simple village pub, saw 5 other customers all night.

Visited in the early evening on the 20th Feb with a family of 3. Really fresh food and attentive friendly service. A jewel in Reading in our view. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone without question.

We had a family meal for 3 set meal C. Service was very friendly and helpfully. Food and presentation slightly above average. Prawns poor, Mongolian lamb very tasty. We paid £18 per head.
