Bournemouth Gardens est divisé en trois parties (Upper, Middle et Lower) en fonction de leur proximité à la mer. C'est un bon endroit après une après-midi de shopping ou juste pour se reposer ou prendre un bain de soleil, et j'y vais souvent pour prendre mon déjeuner vu que les jardins traversent le centre ville. Avec ses beaux paysages tout au long de l'année et sa fontaine à bulles au centre, ce parc est un havre de paix dans une ville très animée. Il y a aussi un mini-golf, des cours de tennis et on peut monter en ballon.

Básicamente, los Bournemouth Gardens están divididos en tres partes, alta, media y baja dependiendo de lo cerca que estés del mar. Si has tenido un día cansado comprando o simplemente necesitas algún sitio para descansar al sol, yo suelo ir ahí a tomar mi comida ya que está junto al centro de la ciudad. Con un paisaje precioso todo el año y un riachuelo que pasa por el centro, es un refugio de la ciudad bulliciosa. Otros entretenimientos incluyen golf, tenis y globo, pero es el paisaje lo que yo prefiero.

Recently refurbsihed this is a perfect place to have an ice cream or a cream tea on a summer’d day or a toasted tea cake or bacon butty on a cold day. Either way, the cafe is sunny and airy and located in an ideal spot at the entrance to Hengistbury Head, a well-known beauty spot. There are wonderful walks from here along the sea front or inner harbour or up and over the Head with 360 degree panoramic views over the beaches and nearby Christchurch and Southbourne. If you prefer you can take a ride on the land train, affectionately known as the Noddy Train. This will take you to the spit where all the beach huts are and past a small nature reserve. There is space for children’s buggies so a walk back is possible if you just want to travel one way. A great day out and a great place for soemthing to eat.

I live five miles away and love this Indian restaurant. I mostly buy takeaways, but the restaurant itself is smart and relaxed. The food is delicious and always up to standard and every portion contains a generous helping of meat. There is a great variety to choose from, one of my favourites is the saffron exotica that contains chicken and a variety of tropical fruit. The staff are always friendly and the service very prompt and it’s worth travelleing the extra distance to eat here. Prices are consistent with most Indian restaurants.

In an age of supermarkets it’s nice to support your local shops and for great quality meat Neal and Sons delivers every time. For all cuts and joints and for a variety of the everyday staples such as pork, chicken and beef they also stock some of the rarer fowl. The meat is also organic and you can guess this by the taste. They are also happy to help with queries regarding cooking and preparing and their meat is always top notch. Surprisingly, the cost is little more than you get in the supermarkets. Well recommended.

Trying to find a carpet can be a mission as there are so many carpet shops and so many colours and types of carpets to choose from. However, we chosse here because the range is so good you don’t need to go anywhere else. Help is on hand if you need it otherwise just browse through the variety of carpets on offer. Purchasing was easy and someone comes round to measure up. Fitting was equally as pain-free and quite frankly that’s how I want it to be. Good quality carpets at reasonbable prices and no hard-sell tactics and no unknowledgeable salespersons. All in all a pleasurable experience in buying carpets!

I’ve shopped here many times and recently bought a washing machine and tumble dryer. I bought here becuase they price-matched the appliances and when I first visited the store they spent time with me going through all the different models and getting to know my needs. They didn’t just try and sell me the first appliance I looked at and I appreciate good and professional service. This probably has something to do with the fact that they are a smaller retailer albeit that the store is huge and stocks a wide range of items from toasters to TV and all the white goods in between. Delivery was easy and on time and I felt that I could depend on the store to deliver a good service, which they did.

A lovely run restaurant in one of Bournemouth’s suburbs and unmissable due to a tuk tuk parked on the pavement outside. Noted for its extensive menu the food is delicious and beautifully prepared. Service is good and the portions generous. Very relaxed atmosphere and popular venue so book in advance. A starter, main course, dessert and a beer will probably cost you a reasonable £25.

Un agréable restaurant dans l'une des banlieues de Bournemouth et immanquable grâce à un tuk tuk garé sur le trottoir en face. Noté pour son menu extensif la cuisine est délicieuse et joliment préparée. Le service est bon et les portions généreuses. Une atmosphère très relaxée et de concert populaire donc resservez en avance. Une entrée, un plat principal, un dessert et une bière vous coutera probablement un raisonnable £25.

This is a fun place to have a meal, whether for two or in a group for a special party. The menu is huge and the food delicious. I love this place because you can have a quiet candlelit intimate meal with the staff keeping an attentive but discreet distance or be in a birthday party and have the waiters laughing and telling jokes and joining in the fun. I have never had a bad meal here and is one of my top destinations for a relaxed meal with friends. Highly recommended and great value.
