  a cheap lunch. Fries and burgers and ribs so don’t expect anything too classy. It’s not quite the full on “grill” quality of food that I’d have loved to have seen but if you’re in a USA junk food mood it will just about do.

  OK food. Interesting and intriguing room. The food is nothing remarkable at all. I has a good soup and an OK fish. The service was fine. The lunch menu reasonable. The restaurant almost empty. French. Worth a trip if you’re looking for a change of lunch venue or you like opulent neo-Byzantine decor, the burnished gold ceilings and marble walls.

  This is a real nice place. The new Ramsay menu is simple and cheap (though my wife tells me; "it's not cheap, it's good value"). Best of all its laid back and not very pretentious. The decor is a bit hard and shiny and the room is a bit dingy. When we went the staff were also incredibly nervous and jumpy. Maybe they've been warned to be on best behavior.
  
  However the food was cracking. Belly of pig was a special and this was terrifically cooked.
  
  It is also about 30 seconds from my house, which, I think makes me like it a lot more.
