O perfil de Prebster

We were a crowd of four people on a business/pleasure trip to Berlin. We had decided to give our bank account a real beating. Restaurant Margaux was recommended to us by the hotel (yes; we asked for a posh place...) The restaurant is certainly very posh, and fancy. I think I heard that this place has 2 or 3 stars in the Michelin-guide (but I´m not sure). Having been to a Norwegian 2-star-restaurant (Bagatelle in Oslo) my expectations were HIGH. Unfortunately, they were not met. I found both the wine and the food to be quite boring. High level, of course, but boring nevertheless.. Good service.

Cool consept.

When you enter, they give you a card. Then you go to your chosen food "center" (pasta, pizza, burgers, etc). You show your card and pay when you leave.

But my pizza was made with no heart and didn´t taste a thing. Disappointing. But I guess that´s the punishment for going to tourist-joints.

Actually; we found this place using Qype!

We were standing in the middle of Unter den Linden and wanted to find a good tapas-restaurant, not some tourist crap. As it happened; I had heard about Qype and we found an internet-connected pc in a car dealership.. Typed in our requirement ("tapas" and our location "unter den linden"); found Atame. All-in all: very good tapas dishes. Wonderful olives. Sehr gut!
