This is an artisan bakery, coffee shop and newsagent. I went for lunch on 2 November, it is worth ringing to book a table as it gets very busy. The prices are very reasonable, I do hope they stay that way. The bread and cakes for sale in the shop and to eat in are amazing!!! They do a breakfast selection before 11am which looks super. I had pumpkin soup with bread, I got seven different slices of their home baked bread with a very tasty soup – wonderful. They do sandwiches, melts, pies, quiche, stews and specials of the day! Well worth a visit and a return visit!

Previously known as the “Premier Chinese Restaurant”. I have eaten twice at the Treasure Room in the last two weeks. The first time I was passing by at lunchtime when I spotted that it was under new management. Had the lunchtime special menu and was very impressed, lots of flavours, good Chicken and Sweetcorn soup, one of the best Black Bean sauces that I have tasted in a while, the only thing was the noodles were a little bit oily - will ask for less oil next time (reason for 4 stars and not 5). Service was very good. Went back with friends for an evening meal and had the £18.00 set menu (the cheapest) and it was excellent, one of the best Peking duck I have had (I have eaten my way through Stowell Street). There were 3 of us and we were given a whole half of Duck, so many pancakes that we didn’t finish them. The main course was just as good, we asked to swap a pork dish for chicken and were told that we could swap away and it was no problem. Very impressed and excellent value for money.
