We tried new takeaway on Saturday Night fancied something different so ordered Mongolian Chicken from Chef’s Specials along with Beef Chow Mein, & Pork Thai Green Curry all were good, mongolian hot but not as hot as a curry due to creamy sauce, but not sweet, Chow Mein in light sauce, thin noodles, fresh made in open kitchen so could watch. Thai not as good as Cotton House but closer to home. Also do box meals for smaller portions, rice, chips cost extra.

We went to Pre-Opening night, the they had just finished decorating and were sitting having chat but said theyd give us 20% off on opening night, I musunderstood and thought they were talking about the same night and brought the family upstairs for them to laugh and say ok choose a table and take a seat. Had a quick look at menu but as they hadnt yet opened didnt have any fish as it was arriving following day (good sign of fresh not frozen) Ordered Thai mixed starters for 2 £11.95 What arrived was not standard but delicious freshly cooked 2x spring rolls, 2x fish cake, prawns, king prawn in rice paper & our kids favourite Chicken on crispy toast with sesame seeds. We then had Thai green curry with sticky boiled rice and stir fried ground pepper pork with spring onion garlic & corriander on bed of lettuce. Both dishes were light and fresh, well accompanied seasoned and just hot enough, and had Pad Mee, stir fried noodles. Didnt have drinks cause we had the car but they had a well stocked bar & wine menu and were friendly and attentive. Talking to the owner and head chef, it turns out she's from Edinburgh, noved through and opened up her own place with hubby (a crane driver on bar) and son & daughters working in family business. Thanks for a lovely meal, in bright and airy surroudings with friendly and happy staff, good luck, we'll be trying lunch soon.

Grangemouth Sports Complex - Grangemouth
Abbots Road, Grangemouth Swimming Pool, Grangemouth, Scotland FK3 8JB

Grangemouth Complex is the biggest in Falkirk District, with 25m pool, 2 flumes, one of which is dark red and fast, the other is light blue and fine for young kids, no rubber rings and the friendly attendants will let younger kids on alone if ok with responsible adult. The always warm square stepped entrance 60-100cm baby/training pool has swimming lessons for pre-school/nursery kids through Falkirk Council, and sauna & steam room which is accessed via pool changing village.
Good cafe, good soft play area with jungle theme, 3 large 5-a-side halls, dance/martial arts studio, weights room and seperate fitness suite, squash courts etc.

Well lit, bright and colorful with seperate areas for under 5's and over 5's with a small area for under 2's with Dragon and Magician themes.
Less expensive and cosier for junior children for both parties and regular 2 hour session. Discounts during term time and remember to ask for membership card to get free tea/coffee/snack after 3, 6 & 9 visits.
Better care taken over party groups with meal & cake half way through rather than at end.
Turn left before traffic lights coming down Graeme's Road from town centre.

Best Leisure Pool in Central Scotland for 4 years & up, under 3's are free but need to be 4 to get on slides (so tell them). Also has 25m Training Pool & Ice Rink. Unfortunately they don't open all the slides & water fun side during term time and despite their commitment to listen to customers I have been met with a complete lack of interest in opening up for the pre-schoolers. "There is no demand"! Write in for weekday peak opening for groups of 40 or more....
The lockers are half broken and are they're shutting from November to March for maintenance, and spending a lot of £££ on replacing two of the slides.
SHUT FOR REFURBISHMENT JAN TIL APRIL
(25MTR POOL OPEN & ICE RINK OPEN)
Khushi's Diner - Edimburgo

I Love Khushi’s. Glad it’s back open in Edinburgh again, kept meaning to go to Dunfermline Khushi’s but never did. Agree that the prices have reduced slightly which isn’t a bad thing as long as I can get a table.
I’ve been frequenting Khushi’s for 20+ years from formica to chandelier and although I enjoy the Butter chicken and fish pakora I still must have veg pakora with mutton gravy, spicy onions & cauliflower on-side with whatever we have.

A good chippie, although it’s got an old fashioned look they don’t keep much in the hot plate and are more than happy to cook you anything fresh. Personally I don’t mind waiting for fresh chips and when I went in last time although they had chips ready the guy offered to cook me fresh if i wanted, I didn’t and they were still the best chip I’ve had for ages. Didn’t have a lunchtime special but it didn’t shut after lunchtime like some others.
