The aim of professional training is to enable the student to attain the ability to carry out his profession.
Professional competence describes exercising a profession in a qualified manner on a permanent basis with the ability to adjust to changing situations.
The concept of practical learning puts the student in a real-life scenario, giving him the opportunity to master both what he is learning and the new language.
According to Hoffmann/Langefeld (1998) practical learning unites awareness, thought and action and provides a combination of practicalities and/or concrete experience with critical/systematic reflection.
Without neglecting grammar, vocabulary or phonetics, this concept of practical learning means that learning goals can be achieved rapidly thanks to variety of tasks.
YES academy has systematically developed the concept of active teaching and places the student at the centre of the learning process.
- Our classrooms have been specially chosen to provide a calm and quiet atmosphere.
- The classrooms all have natural daylight, which is a further contribution to stress-free learning. Where we cannot avoid artificial light, for example during the evening classes, we have taken advice from experts.
- The classroom furnishings have been specially chosen according to the latest ergonomic and pedagogical standards.
- As the quality of our staff is essential for the quality of our courses, we attach particular importance to the selection and further training of our teaching staff.
