Das Midland ist ein sehr großes Hotel im Herzen von Manchester. Es ist ein gut ausgestattetes Hotel mit einer beeindruckenden Fassade von Edwardian. Der Innenraum ist ebenso auffällig ist somit ideal für ein besonderes Wochenende oder romantischen Urlaub. Das Midland bietet auch eine gute Ausstattung mit Schwimmbad und Whirlpool. Das Midland ist nicht mehr das beste Hotel in Manchester und ist wahrscheinlich etwas ueberteuert, da es nicht dem modernen Luxus des Wettbewerbs entspricht. Aber es bleibt noch eine königlicher Charme und man kann sich nicht helfen aber man fuehlt sich ein bisschen selbstgefällig wenn man durch den grossen Eingang tritt...

L'hotel Midland è davvero un bell'hotel posizionato nel cuore di Manchester. E' un hotel bello esteticamente grazie alla sua facciata Edwardiana sorprendente, e all'interno è egualmente bello, il che lo rende l'ideale per un weekend speciale o romantico. The Midland offre anche ottimi servizi con una piscina al coperto e la Jacuzzi. Forse non è più l'hotel più bello di Manchester perchè è leggermente troppo caro e non riesce a stare al pari con la competenza degli altri hotel, più moderni, di lusso e design. In ogni caso, mantiene un non so che di regale...il che ti fa sentire molto figo quando ci entri.

Le Midland est un hôtel grandiose au coeur de Manchester. C'est un hôtel bien établi, avec une façade edwardienne majestueuse. L'intérieur est tout aussi impressionant, faisant de l'endroit un lieu idéal pour une escapade ou un week-end romantique. Le Midland offre aussi de bons services, et possède une piscine et un jacuzzi. Le Midland n'est plus aujourd'hui le meilleur hôtel de Manchester et les prix sont probablement un peu exagérés étant donné qu'il n'atteint pas le luxe moderne des concurrents. Cependant, il conserve un charme royal, et on ne peut s'empêcher de se sentir un peu chic lorsqu'on passe la grande porte d'entrée.

El Midland es un hotel muy grandioso sito en el corazón de Mánchester. Es un hotel muy bien establecido, con una impresionante fachada eduardiana. El interior es igualmente llamativo, convirtiéndolo en el sitio ideal para una escapada especial o un fin de semana romántico. El Midland también ofrece buenas instalaciones como una piscina y un jacuzzi. El Midland ya no es el mejor hotel de Manchester, y es probablemente un poco caro ya que no iguala los niveles de lujo de sus competidores modernos. De todos modos, todavía mantiene su encanto regio y no podrás evitar sentir algo de petulancia al pasar por su majestuosa puerta.

Glamorous, intimate and fun; Sea is one of my favourite clubs in Newcastle. Sea has a fantastic layout with multi level steps and stages to dance on. A balcony runs above the main dance floor with a large bar and funky seating. Located just a few steps away from the river Tyne, Sea is in an ideal location surrounded by plenty of lively pre-club bars on the quayside. Sea is home to Hed Kandi on the first Friday of every month and Miss Moneypenny’s on the third Friday of every month. It also offers a cheaper student night every Thursday.

Digital is definitely one of my favourite clubs. It opened in 2005 and is set over two floors. It is a very dark club and has a fantastic sound system which creates an amazing atmosphere. Digital attracts some world famous DJ’s who in turn attract huge crowds. They also host some cheesy student nights during the week, but I advise saving your cash for the weekend as the atmosphere is incomparable. If you’re into house music you’ll love Shindig, which is on every Saturday night.

The Trafford Centre is a huge American style complex. It has everything you need and hours can easily be lost here. As well as every high street shop you can think of the Trafford Centre has a huge selection of restaurants including a large pizza hut and a lovely Chinese called Cathay Dim Sum. There is also a selection of bars, a multiplex cinema, arcades and a laser quest. The décor of the complex is very ornate with huge pillars and water fountains. The layout is very easy to follow with the shops set over two floors and the restaurants in a separate area. The Trafford Centre can be a bit of a nightmare during sales when it gets so busy and hot you can end up feeling quite faint.

Moso Moso is a very funky and modern Chinese restaurant situated on Oxford Road. Although a very large restaurant, the atmosphere is very laid back with soft lighting. The menu is probably the best thing about this place as it is huge! They offer a selection of Dim Sum, as well as traditional Thai and Chinese dishes. The wine list is also extensive. The service was not brilliant as they over charged us but I think that this was a genuine mistake and we soon got it corrected. All in all Moso Moso is a lovely restaurant with delicious food and I can’t wait to return.

The bar downstairs is comfortable and cosy. They show live football matches and also have a pool table. Upstairs there are two dance floors. The larger of the two reminds me very much of school disco's. It is a perfect rectangle with chairs pushed around the outside. The DJ is positioned in a box high above the dance floor, almost out of site. The other room is very small and is used purely to offer a second choice in music. Both areas have a bar. I went to Jabez Clegg on a popular student night called “The Bop” and being a student night I was expecting cheap drinks but found them to be pretty expensive. Having said all of this, the atmosphere is friendly and I did have a great night. However, I put it down to the company rather than the venue and I certainly won’t rush back.

To me it certainly doesn’t live up to its name. It is set in a grand old building and was probably very stylish back in its day however today the interior is pretty grotty. The Ritz attracts a mixed clientele of students and devoted locals. The Love Train is a particular favourite with students who pile in for some cheesy 70s disco classics. Although the décor needs improving the atmosphere is great and the dance floor heaving.
