Grand Indonesia - Jakarta
Jl MH Thamrin no. 1, 10310 Jakarta
21-02-2009
One of the biggest shopping malls in Jakarta, is not very complete yet. It is separated to 3 districts: main mall district, specialty district and crossroads of the world where it is decorated with various themes.
But some of the tenants have yet to open their stores. Seibu department store has opened since 2007, along with the new-concept cinema Blitz megaplex. It also housed the first flagship store of Chanel and Harvey Nichols in Indonesia.
The 250,000m2 mall is very strategically located in the heart of Jakarta, right in front of the Selamat Datang monument, and just across the National Monument, with the Presidential palace and Sudirman business district in the vicinity.
Sushi Tei, Plaza Senayan - Jakarta
Jl. Asia Afrika 8, Plaza Senayan Level 3 #302 C, 10270 Jakarta
21-02-2009
One of the many branches of Sushi Tei in Jakarta, it served the traditional and contemporary sushi, along with some other traditional Japanese meal such as curry, soba noodles and udon.
The restaurant also has the infamous revolving sushi belt where the chef put the sushi on the belt and the customers take the plates themselves.
Unfortunately it is almost always crowded during dinner time, so customers will have to wait for quite a long time to have their table.
Service is also exceptional, with every waiter and chef greeting you welcome and goodbye.

NOT NOW.
Sentosa is being renovated, so part of the island is still construction sites. The beaches are fine, though they are somewhat artificially made, and are very safe even for children (due to the lifeguards constantly watching you).
Furthermore, in Sentosa you can find some other attractions such as the Dinasourland, Underwater World, 4D Magix and Merlion statue. Additionally, there is also the Dragon Trail, natural jungle reserve with trekking path.
Not many cafes are around, but Cafe del Mar is one worthy of mention.
Transportation around the island are catered by the 2 bus rides, meeting at the center of the island. Transportation to Sentosa island can be either by bus from Harborfrount MRT, by car, or by shuttle train from VivoCity

Orchard Road - Singapura
Orchard Road, Singapore

The main street of shopping in Singapore, you can find almost anything here, from clothing to accessories to electronics to automobile, from the cheapest sale shop to the luxury high end boutiques.
It is not suggested to go to Orchard on weekends, due to its being overcrowded, not just by tourists but also locals.
Three main shopping centres: Ngee Ann City, Paragon, Tangs which are located nearby. Additionally, further down the road you can find Plaza Singapura, just next to the Presidential palace.
A lot of luxurious hotels are also located nearby.

It IS probably one of the best airport in the world, or at least in Asia. With 3 terminals serving global airlines, Singapore is the main hub of transportation in and out of Asia.
The airport is also equipped with various shops and restaurants, making it a pleasant experience for transit or just duty-free shopping before departure or after arriving.
