What a great find - lots of character and history in addition to great food and drinks. Very in keeping with the old town atmosphere and very welcoming staff make this an ideal place to call in on while visiting the town. Not the cheapest place but well worth the visit.

Probably first went here in 1976 for a game of darts and have been back regularly since. Although there have been some changes over the years, the character of the place has remained and the beer always makes it well worth a return visit.
Particularly nice to call in for a swift one whilst out shopping.

A piece of Penarth history - this pub has been here longer than people can remember and remains as popular as ever.
Whilst retaining that old time feel, the beer on offer and the relaxed environment is second to none.
Also, handy to pop in for a quick one whilst doing the shopping!

Can be a bit hit and miss but more often than not a fun night out with great views of the channel whatever time of year. The wines on offer are interesting and varied, mostly representing good value for money. Parking is not easy at busy times but worth a walk to get here.

Nicely tucked away off the beaten track and a great place for a drinl with friends beside the sea. Brilliant to sit outside with a drink in the summer and inside with spectacular views on a stormy winter’s evening. Friendly staff and a decent selection of wines and beers

Ok - you probably won’t eat here every week, unless those six numbers came up recently, but you would if you could. The service is five star and the food to die for. A great choice on the menu served and presented wonderfully in a setting that encourages you to take your time in enjoying the surroundings, food and service.
Somewhere everyone should visit at least once.

Now this is somewhere special, a cut above most places and never disappoints. Convenient for the town centre for somewhere to go after a great meal. The food is always of a high standard complimented by a fine selection of wines that are realistically priced. Always a great place for that special occasion.

Enjoyed a great night out here a few months ago when my wife and I wanted a meal and entertainment. Although the menu was somewhat limited, the food was good and the entertainment from the band was first rate.
Easy parking and friendly staff helped make the evening great.

Now this is a great place for a night out with friends, particularly in a large group where the entertainment is first rate.
For a city centre night out the prices are reasonable for drinks and the choice on offer quite good.
Found the one in Cardiff to be just as good.

Typical of the Walkabout chain - some time since I last visited but always guaranteed a lively night especially following an England v Australia rugby match in the afternoon.
The atmosphere is always good and the staff seem to make an effort to be friendly and helpful.
