The Earl of Spencer - Wandsworth

260 Merton Road, London SW18 5JL

01-12-2008

The earl of spencer is my local pub, its a lovely family gastro pub that has a nice seating area outside, and inside it is cosy with wooden tables and chairs, a big long bar and cosy fired. The food is exceptional absoloutely gorgeous, would reccomend to go for a sunday lunch or any other day lunch! They serve dinner too. It has won awards from Time Out as well. Everyone is very friendly there, and it’s also a nice place for a drink.

Cote - Wimbledon

8 High Street, Wimbledon Village, London SW19 5DX

01-12-2008

Yep absoloutely great, thought it has a posh air to the restuarant they have some great deals if you go before 8 such as 2 courses for ten pounds, and i had a lovely soup then chicken in a mushroom sauce, but you could also get steak and many other options! Its a really nice restauraunt aswell i think it is something about the lighting and the comfy chairs, always quite full so i would book if you’re going a bit later and it is french so that is why it is called cote.

The Slug & Lettuce - Fulham

474/476 Fulham Road, Fulham, London SW6 1BY

01-12-2008

OH my gosh anyone who says the slug is vile is wrong, it is the best place to go for a good old drink and another drink and another drink! haha beware do not wear a white top as you will be sure to spill the slug drink called snakebite down you which has ribena in it so will definetly stain. Its a good night if you want to dance, but not stay out too late, but beware the drinks have happy hours each hour at one pound a snakebite which is a pint size, and pitchers are extremely huge, and many people i see have to chug them down in a drinking game. So you may find you are extremly 'happy’\falling over bu the end of the night. There are many australians there but they are always a good laugh! definetly reccomend if you don’t really care what the place looks like but youre up for a great dance especially to that song that Peter Kay covered a while ago haha

Tate Modern Members Room - Southwark

Bankside, London SE1 9TG

01-12-2008

Went here for lunch one time, wow absoloutly splendid views and great quality food, i would reccomend it to familys, or taking your grandma out for lunch, or business lunches, i havn’t tried it at dinner but i bet that would be even better, i don’t know about you but i thinkin eating up high with a great view makes the food taste even better!

YO! Sushi - Fulham

Fulham Road, Fulham, London SW6 1BW

01-12-2008

Yo! Sushi is great not just for sushi lover but chicken katsu currey, which is only 3.50! what a bargain, and the restaurant is so muych fun because u sit up on a table next to a revolving food trolley and you pick what you fancy. it may seem confusing but colour codes on the bowls show you how much each bowl would be. You even get your own tap water tap at the table! Thats what you call service. Ha ha only problem is you pay for how many glasses you use, me and friends were a bit cheeky and used only one and shared it! They had this great deal as well when i was there, i fyou bought 5 bowls you got 5 free, me and my friends were so full afterwards but happy with our deal!

Paul, Boulangerie et Pâtisserie - Covent Garden

29/30 Bedford Street, Covent Garden, London WC2E 8JF

01-12-2008

This place is great if you love a chocolatey hot chocolate! Its a lovely french cafe chain, that also obviously means the pasterties are yummy and the coffee is fabulous. But the quality does come with a price, with the steaming hot chocolate with whipped cream beiing about 4 pounds. But oh well its worth it! You’re worth it!

Jardin Majorelle - Marrakech, Marrakesh

Jardin Majorelle, Marrakech, Marrakesh

30-11-2008

I would go here if you are interested in beautiful gardens, plants and gardening basically. i myself am not so interested in theses hobbies, but i was still quite impressed when i went and especially as the gardeneres constantly working on the gardens which is obviously a lot of hard work to keep it up, what is great is that its not a tourist trap and is actually cheap to get it about 3 pounds per person.!

Abercrombie & Fitch - Mayfair

7 Burlington Gardens, Mayfair, London W1S 3ES

30-11-2008

I was and still am a fan of abercrombie, but this shop in london has really put me off due to the overly loud music, annoying workers who know nothing about the clothes and where they are and just stand there palying with their hair as every one knows they are models, and also it is soooo dark in their yu can hardly see the product let alone the pirce - which you probably don’t want to see as it is soo overpriced in there, i would rather buy a ticket to america and get clothes there than buy from that certain shop.

Club Med Le Riad - Marrakech, Marrakesh

SIDI YAHYA, 44 000 Marrakech, Marrakesh

30-11-2008

Wow i have just been on holiday for a week away. Definetly worth it, though it is expensive. But you have amazing rooms, with satellite tv, and then speakers in the bathroom so you can hear the tv while your in the bath haha, then you either have a garden, or a roof top balcony with sofas a shower and deck chairs on, free mini bar, excellent service with your room being cleaned 4 times a day! You can either have breakfast by the pool or go to the club med palemerai next door where there is a bigger choice, the great thing about being nex door to the club med palmerai is that you can use all their facilities, and the the Riad is the place to get some peace and quite, have free champagne at the bar in the evening, and listen to live music each night. Whilst you’re by the pool in the day people will bring round the drinks you ask, and small snacks. I would reccomend it if you like good service, and friendly and attentive staff, with beautiful surroundings and a place of peace.

super dry - Covent Garden

35 earlham street, covent garden, London WC2H 9LD

30-11-2008

This place is HOT. If you like Jack Wills, but would prefer it to be a bit more vintage, trendier and cheaper then this is the place! I havn’t seen the womens section myself(you can see on the website), but was checking out the mens (i was looking for a present for someone and came across this shop) and the collection is soooo great, with cool t-shirts, yummy cosy hoodies that are also fashionable and they also have a real vintage collection too like urban outfiters has, there prices are still quite expensive, but if you shop at jack wills you will find this shop much much cheaper with their hoodies around 50 pounds and then their tshirts about 25. The shop was really cool, with loads of their clothes there and then opposite was the womens shop. Though the music was really loud, the staff were really friendly and i got chatting to one of them! It is quite hard to fidn as it is in a small shopping centre in the centre of covent garden. But i would definely reccomend you to go on a search for it.
