I've only just found this place and need to try it some more to complete my judgment (that's why they're only 3 star at the moment, because Qype 'must' have a rating) but it's 100x better than going to EAT or Pret for a coffee in this former coffee dead zone. It feels a little odd walking into a fashionista-type shop (I have officially 0 style points to my name) but who cares for good coffee, right?

They use Nude Espresso and a lovely Faema E61 machine.

Some pastries are available too. The guy working there is very friendly.

Best pub quiz evah! on Mondays. Good beer choice of various ales and lagers and some bottled options too. Cider, Crabbies ginger beer too. Jim Beam and good range of other spirits too. Great gastropub food.

Friendly staff. Range of good beers you might not find elsewhere. Quiet Monday. Nice.

Very modern. Friendly lunch time service. Range of bourbon. Good selection of beers - it's a Young's pub. TVs. Leather sofas. Even a little area full of books.. confused library perhaps? Quiet on Sat lunch, no idea about other times.

I was disappointed with this place to be honest. We made a special trip over there from the office to try some of the usually well-deserved Aussie barista skills and I received a rather bland Starbucks-esque latte.
They had Cherry Ripes which was a nice touch but the coffee was quite a let down and we haven't been back since. Thinking about it now I guess I should always give a place a second chance so I'll try but only if I'm over that way. Sorry guys, you let me down so I'm sticking with Coffee Buzz in Broadgate for now. 2 stars only because I WANT to believe you're better.
