I thought this place was okay as takeaways go. The Chicken Madras was good but could have done with being a bit hotter.

The garlic naan needed more garlic as there wasn’t much on it and I wasn’t keen on the onion bhajis which were too big, about 4 inches across. I prefer them smaller.

Service was 40 minutes and I even got an ‘Enjoy your meal’ from the delivery driver which was nice.

When I tried to order for a second time they said it was too far to deliver even though I could walk it in under 10 minutes. Don’t waste people’s time when they order by saying you do delivery when you don’t. From now on will order from elsewhere.

Ordered from here recently and thought it was pretty good. I thought at last I’ve found somewhere that does Sesame Prawn Toast and not the weird Prawn Toast other places seem to do. My Szechuan Chicken was good but I have had better.

However, I tried to order online again and they rejected my order saying they were too busy. That is the first time I have ever been told no by a takeaway so will order from elsewhere from now on. Shame on you Grumpy House.

These total idiots completely got my order wrong, so bad the dog wouldn’t even touch it.

I ordered a Hot Shot pizza and asked for NO onions. When it arrived it had so many onions on it I may as well as ordered a raw onion with a little bit of pizza hanging off it.

We also ordered a burger with mayo and lettuce, when it was delivered it had ketchup, something we couldn’t describe and another kilo of onion.

Next time going to order from somewhere that understands English and doesn’t have a weird fascination with onion.

When can we give somewhere Zero stars?

Great Fajitas, possibly some of the best I have ever had and pretty reasonable at around 9 Euro each. They came with (white) rice and black beans which I haven’t seen before in a Tex-Mex place. If the rice had been Mexican style it would have amazing. The menu is grills, fish, anything to be truthful.

The service was pretty good except for when we walked in I saw they had chip’n’pin card terminals so thought I could pay by card, but when I pulled the card out to pay the bill the waiter’s face changed, which I didn’t like, and he said they weren’t working. Luckily I had some cash on me which covered the bill which for the two of us plus a beer each came to 24 Euro.

It’s in the old town of Puerto Del Carmen at the top of the big hill Calle Reina Sofia so not somewhere you would pass unless you are staying in the apartments around there, but it’s worth a 5 minute walk to.

First time we have ever ordered from here and next time will go elsewhere.

They got our order wrong and we were missing a portion of chips. We rang up and asked them to be delivered, they then must of put the phone on the side until we went away as they wouldn’t speak to us. The chips never turned up.

The pizza we got wasn’t great, the burger we got was pretty poor too.

Average fish and chip shop to be honest. The patties were huge but were not the best I have ever had. To be fair the service was really good.

Top pub, great for watching football. Not over the top busy and usually get a seat. The pint of Stella at £3.01 makes me laugh, why not just make it £3.00 to keep things simpler for everyone.

The first Chinese I have ever been to where the staff don’t understand what a Szechuan Chicken dish is.

The staff openly took the mick when I ordered the Szechuan Chicken, which I pronounced normally as I do in any Chinese. Next time I would just bark a number at them but I won’t be going back ever again as I don’t know whether it was a really poor Szechuan dish or they had given me something entirely different.

Either way it was a really poor standard of food coupled with ridiculously bad service. Avoid.

When can we give 0 stars? This place doesn’t deserve 1 star but the lowest I can give.

The small black girl behind the bar completely ignored me as I waited to be served, then she served the first person who walked up next to me. Worst service possibly ever. Avoid.

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would.

This pub must see some tourists, the inside of the pub is not great. If you’re the owner and reading this, you could make it a great pub.

Outside needs a few more benches.

Good stop off for biking the canal.
