Acabé en el Blakes una noche que salí con amigos. El bar está en el sótano, pero eso le añade atmósfera. Así como las cervezas normales, también ofrece una amplia selección de ales auténticas. Blakes ofrece una agradable bienvenida a todo el mundo e incluso tienen habitaciones para que alquile la gente de fuera de la ciudad. El restaurante ofrece buena comida a buenos precios y la comida que tuvimos fue excelente. El servicio fue rápido y amable y volveremos otra noche a por más buena comida y bebida muy prontito.

J'ai atteri au Blakes un soir avec des amis. Le bar est dans la cave mais c'est justement ca qui rajoute un truc a l'atmosphere. Et en plus des bieres habituelles, ils offrent une grande selection de Real Ales. Blakes offre un acceuil sympa a tout le monde et ils ont meme des chambres pour les gens qui resident hors de la ville. Le restaurant offre de la bonne cuisine a bon prix et le repas que nous avons mange etait excellent. le service etait rapide et amical, et nous y reviendrons pour une autre nuit de bonne nourriture et de biere tres prochainement.

Jc rooks and co of dover sell a wide range of meat, as well as cold cooked meats and cheeses. The also sell pies, cornish pasties and other hot snacks that are cooked on the premises.
The hot snack they do are fantastic and as you can imagine at lunch time this part of the shop can become very busy.
They also offer a range of cold drinks and salad based rolls. If you want to budget for xmas join their xmas club, you can put as little as £1 a week or month on it.

Icelands in dover does carry, as its name implies, a large selection of frozen foods. They also sell fresh vegetables and fruit.
The shop can seem cramped and when it gets busy this can seem even more cramped. The have improved in the last few months with extra tills opening up once a que builds up on the other tills.

hooked on books is a great shop offering second hand books. They only sell books that are in very good condition so although they are cheaper than buying new the prices can be half the original cost.
The shop is well laid out with ample space for wheel chair access. They sell both paper back and hard back books. They will also offer to buy your used books off you but you need to check with them before taking them in as they do some times have too many books and will not purchase anymore at that time.
The owner is usually manning the shop himself and is friendly and helpful. The shop always has large selection of well known authors books on their shelves

Euro chicken provides some of the best fast food in dover. The chicken burgers are fantastic and it offers various food combination. to suite the whole family.
If you are looking for a meal for one or for a family this will suite everyone. They also sell soft drinks. This can be very busy at weekends after the pubs have closed and now and again there will be some trouble outside or close to Euro chicken

I sue this shop often and it is very well stocked with most items that you would need from day to day. They sell groceries as well as household items for washing and cleaning.
It also has its own off license as well. At times some of the shelves are empty often giving the impression they are closing down. The shop is always clean and tidy but in the evenings you sometimes get groups of teenagers hanging around outside.

This is an ideal place for a coffee or a bite to eat especially if you are waiting for your bus. The prices are not too bad and as well as hot and cold drinks they offer snacks or cooked meals.
The cafe is always clean and tidy and the staff are friendly. They have a few tables outside mainly to cater for non smokers.
The road it is on can be busy so sitting inside is a better option away from the noise and traffic fumes.

A great day out for all the family. Not only is the mill set in a lovely area it also hosts event days when you can see the mill being worked how it would have been done in its heyday.

It also boasts a number of ghosts and these are not only seen at its annual ale festival either. This can get busy during the summer months.

This has recently been rebuilt due to a fire that destroyed the pub a few years ago. The rebuild has been done to a high standard and in a complimentary way.
The food on offer can be a bit limited but most is local fare and the meal we had was very good. The prices for food are reasonable and the staff are friendly.
You can enjoy a nice quiet drink here and there is a smoking area provided as well. this is a lovely little pub set in a lovely little village
