El Omni Parker House esel hotel más antiguo en funcionamiento de los EEUU y el más viejo de Boston. El hotel tuvo su papel en la historia, JFK anunció su candidatura en este hotel y mantuvo aquí su fiesta de licenciatura. Tiene un precio sorprendentemente barato y está cerca de los sitios más importantes de Boston. Me quedé un 4 de julio para poder ir con facilidad a los conciertos y los fuegos artificiales en la explanada junto al Charles River. La habitación era muy cómoda y sobre todo a buen precio. El hotel es también famoso por inventar el Boston Creme Pie y los bollos Parker House que encuentras por todo EEUU. Le Omni Parker House est le plus vieil hôtel en activité de Boston et de tous les Etats-Unis. L'hôtel a joué un rôle dans l'histoire du pays : c'est là que John F. Kennedy a annoncé sa candidature à la présidence, et c'est là aussi qu'il a enterré sa vie de garçon. L'hôtel est étonnamment bon marché et est proche des lieux importants de Boston. J'y ai séjourné lors des festivités du 4 juillet pour pouvoir voir facilement les concerts et les feux d'artifice sur l'Esplanade, près de la rivière Charles. La chambre était très confortable et à un très bon prix. L'hôtel est aussi réputé pour avoir inventé un gâteau (le Boston Creme pie), et on peut trouver des rouleaux dits de "Parker House" à travers le pays. The San Diego Animal park was originally a “closed to the public” breeding facility for the San Diego Zoo. The massive 1800 acre park is not a standard zoo. Be prepared to walk long distances in this park. There is a tram tour that is included in the basic admission, which provides a 25 minute tour of areas where the animals roam. There are also additional tours that allow you to get closer to the animals or explore areas not open in the general tour. The tram tour wait time can be quite long during the holiday weekend. Many of the exhibits close around 4pm, so make a note of the early closures and plan accordingly. Since the park is not a typical zoo, the animals are not on display in a small space, consequently, they may not be viewable each time you visit their habitat. A different experience, but if you plan on long walking distances, and manage your time, it is a great experience.

John F. Kennedy kündigte in diesem Hotel seine Kandidatur für das Präsidentenamt an, und hielt hier seinen Junggesellenabschied ebenso. Das Hotel ist erstaunlich kostengünstig und ist nah an vielen der wichtigsten Standorten rund um Boston. Ich blieb hier, am vierten Juli, um das Live-Musik- und Feuerwerk-Show, welches in der Esplanade neben dem Charles River stattfand, zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war sehr angenehm, insgesamt vom hohen Wert.
Das Hotel ist auch berühmt für die Erfindung des Boston Creme Pie, und die "Parker House"-Brötchen sind in den ganzen USA zu finden.

The Omni Parker House is the oldest operating hotel in the United States, and the oldest hotel in Boston. The hotel has played a role in U.S. history. John F. Kennedy announced his candidacy for president at this hotel, and held his bachelor party as well. The hotel is surprisingly affordable and is close to many of the major sites around Boston. I stayed here on the fourth of July in order to easily walk to the live music and fireworks show held in the Esplanade located adjacent to the Charles River. The room was quite comfortable, and overall a great value.
The Hotel is also famous for the invention of the Boston Creme pie, and "parker house" rolls are found throughout the U.S..

The Atlanta History Center provides a great way to get acquainted with the history of the City of Atlanta. In addition to the Civil War History that is well documented in this region, the Atlanta History Center provides an extensive centennial Olympic games museum, an outdoor example of a traditional southern farm house, native american exhibits, and the Swan House.

This park served as the location of many of the corporate booths and live performances during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. The park has a olympic ring water fountain that is illuminated at night. You can actually get in the olympic rings of the fountain, and get as wet as you’d like. During the winter holiday season (around Thanksgiving until a little after Christimas) there is a small ice skating rink set up in the park. The Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, CNN, and the World Congress Center are adjacent to the park, so it is easy to work in a visit to the park.
