Kenkey House - Back to the Roots
I was there on the weekend and was very impressed with the Restaurant. Actually the Restaurant specialises in Ghanian food. I was there with Ghanian friends of mine and they helped me to choose what to eat. We took about 5 different dishes between us and I tried most of them and they were delicious! Prices ranged from only 5 € for meat stew with rice, to stew with a grilled "Tilapia" fish and Fufu for 12 €. A good sign is that most of the guests were really Africans, particularly Ghanians and Nigerians and they would not have been eating there if the food was not good! Incidentally, "Kenkey", from which the Restaurant is named, is a traditional Ghanian staple! It is a slightly sour tasting type of "Fufu" eaten with fish and a hot spicy sauce! If you would like to know any tips which dishes to try there, I can ask my friends and they can advise you!
