The Kings Arms is a family run traditional hotel and pub, very olde worlde. They serve very nice bar lunches which are quite large portions. Always very quick service which is exactly what you need at lunch time. They are situated right in the middle of town. I’ve never stayed in the hotel overnight but i hear that it is very nice.

Great little gift shop filled with loveliness. They stock gorgeous jewellery, photo frames and candles, lots of unique things that you wouldn’t find anywhere else. It is a bit pricey but just what you’d expect from a small shop like this. The shop is owned and run by two sisters who are really lovely!

Very old fashioned store which serves the elderly population of Lockerbie. They sell clothes, t-towels etc all featuring tartan.

Proper old mans pub…. and i say that affectionately. Great pub with a great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. A good meeting place before catching the train on a night out. They hold a dominoes comp every sunday to win a steak pie…. i rest my case!

Ma Donnas is a great pub, serving very good food. Top class!

This used to be a favourite place for us to eat, i think it must’ve changed hands as the food menu wasn’t too great the last time we were there, in fact we left without eating as there were not any steaks on the menu! Hubby a bit of a carnivore. Very pleasant staff who were very understanding.

I love lidl for quality fruit and veg, just like an old stylie green grocers. They’ve always got promotions on seasonal veg.

This shop was great for gifts…..... sadly closed :(
