A great concept and a cool ambiance.. Have you ever dreamt of having your dinner on king size beds? Spindler&Klatt is a club which serves as a restaurant till midnight, then turns into a club, in a huge empty hangar like building next to river. I dont know what kind a club it turns into later. I would suggest to go there for a light dinner. Where to eat is full of king size beds where guests sit, lay.. whatever.. and enjoy their food and drinks. They have really good cocktails. The music is electro lounge music, everything is very stylish,.. from staff to the toilets. That's the place to take your guests to a dinner in an interesting elegant athmosphare. The approach to the club-restaurant is however a little scary. Especially at night on foot through dark streets in a seemingly industrial neighbourhood. But its surprising effect afterwards is also compatible. Reservation is a must and you have to be crowded enough if you want to be able to reserve a bed, otherwise you can sit around a table as well. If you are lucky you can also meet with any promotion event there. When we were there for example there was a popular coiffeur group. They were making hair for free in interesting punk styles for any of those who want. There was a queue of women, of course hehe. The prices are reasonable. Not expensive. I am absolutely impressed by this place.

For the ones who enjoys dancing argentinian tango. Tangomatrix arranges tango evenings (general name milonga) on thurdays. The place is their usual workshop space but turns into a nice gloomy athmosphare for dance nights. Floor is laminated parquet, proper for tango. There is an entrance fee which is usual for milonga about 7 euro but including a drink. Downstairs there is a changing space. What makes this place special is the open welcoming attitude of the regular visitors and their dance styles. Music is tango but more experimental and a good combination of traditional and neotango. There can be some special events besides thursday milongas so better to check at their web site.

a very nice italian restaurant.. not only the warmness of the place but also the warmness of the italians running it welcomes at the door. The athmosphare is elite. There are nice huge oil color paintings hanged on the walls which are waiting to be sold. You can see the prices nearby. So the reastaurant is somehow a galery as well. They present the menu on a blackboard writen by chalk bringing to your table. More than one waiter serves at the same time. If you have an italian with you you can get an extra care ;) Food is delicious, prices are... so like a pasta is about 8 euro. You can guess accordingly. Food amount is normal in my standarts. So not a lot considering that i usually can not finish to the end a similar dish. After the main dish you can try a light fruit deserts. or maybe they can invite for it.. hehe.. but a liqueur to finish the evening is a must. i tried sambuca and limoncello. Sambuca is a sweeter lighter version of rak? of turkey or ouzo of greece, made of aniseed. Limoncello is as understood of lemon. again sweet. I recommend here for a nice long dinner.
