In Kranjska Gora for a few days? Get yourself to Papa Joe's!

What appears to be a quiet, atmospheric restaurant can suddenly turn into a full on disco with plenty of Slovenian dance tunes!

Even if you're not dancing the food is still worth checking out, especially the 'Papa Joe' itself, a unique combination of various meats on a custom made spiked ball that dangles over the veg and chips which is then doused in something flammable and ignited - fantastic!

Located at the top of Saulire, this is just what you need after a morning on the skis. Compared to a lot of places in the 3 valleys, Le Panoramic offers massive portions of quality food for between 10 and 15 Euro.

The Lasagne and Chocolate tart come highly recommended. Despite the large servings not a crumb was left untouched!
