Very friendly, professional and sensitive. This little practice near the Promenade have looked after our family’s pets for about 15 years. Might be a little more expensive than average, but you couldn’t put a price on the level of care and understanding that these lovely people offer.

Great, fresh Indian cuisine at a very reasonable price. Excellent range of Veggie options, and the non-veg dishes actually have big pieces of good quality meat in them. The staff are friendly and helpful and the menu is in a very easy format to navigate, with types of dishes clearly described and ordered by heat, ranging from mild to very hot.
The takeaway runs a 50% discount if you order before 6.45 and there is a 25%reduction if you eat in early.

Excellent little coffee shop, opposite the Acorn Theatre.
They do a really great range of homemade lunches, snacks and cakes. They have a really clear well thought out menu and offer gluten free bread and cakes, as well as plenty of veggie and vegan options.
I recommend the homity pie, and the baked potato with curry, ooh and the gluten free chocolate cake… I could go on and on.
Unfortunately it’s so good that it’s hard to get a table in there at lunch time most days!

Relatively new cocktail bar situated underneath what used to be the Regent on Chapel Street.
Well mixed cocktails and a selection of beers and wines, a little expensive, but great for a treat.
Nice, neutral decour and friendly staff. You can have table service, or pay at the bar, but you have to pay as you go along…
Toilets a bit cramped bit they have awesome hand-dryers!

One of Penzance’s best kept secrets; a really lively little bar/club behind a normal looking gate on Bread Street. They have live music every night of the week and a good selection of beers and spirits (sadly no lime for the G’s+T’s though).
There’s a pool table in the back and lounge/dance floor upstairs with DJ at the weekends and a fun atmosphere, once it warms-up!
The lady’s only has one toilet with sink and mirror behind the locking door, so queueing is garanteed; be sure to set off before you’re desperate!
I hear the gents is a bit cramped and stinky too.

Good veggie food, Nice restaurant, Terrible staff attitidue. Had a lovely lunch until my boyfriend discovered a bit of plastic in his salad. I really don’t like complaining, but thought I should try to save any embarassment by talking in a private area to the waitress who was very accommodating. She brought the chef out who was entirely unhelpful and accused us of placing the plastic in the food ourselves, causing us embarrasment. There was no apology or offer of re-imbursement. Such a shame as there aren’t many veggie friendly places in Penzance…
