Beautiful unspoilt sandy beach with a wee shop, cafe and carpark. If you park in the main car park you need to get an exit token from the shop.

Great service, friendly staff always on hand to help what ever your needs, never have to wait long to be seated. They also do a great collection service where you can order and pay online and you just turn up to collect.
My only critisim is the toilet cubicles are way too small, I struggled to close the door and had to step over the loo to manage to shut the door without crushing my legs and I’m to that big.
Would totally recommend it to others looking for Pizza in Cannock.

Fabulous food, great service and the carvery is different each day depending on what is available locally. I can only say the clotted cream dark chocolate pie with Icecream is to die for. Would totally recommend a visit.

Excellent value for money and we managed to get a free child ticket. Very clean, easy to navigate with excellent facilities. We drove round the actual safari park three times before we left to see the animals at different times. We even watched them round up the lions for bed which was excellent.
Would totally recommend a visit

An oasis in the heart of a metropolis. Cannock has undergone a massive facelift over the last 20 years, it has changed from a coal mining town to a modern town with all mod cons.
The biggest change was the Northern relief road which has changed access to the North and South and has made travelling so much easier.
Cannock chase is a historic forest which is steeped in historical sites, from the Roman fort at castle ring to the German & Katyn war memorials.
There are lots of wonderful walks and several cafes, resturants and pubs around the outskirts to refresh a weary walker.
The only thing to be aware is that because of foresting the footpaths to have a habit of being moved making older maps a little confusing.
I can totally recommend a visit and you should start at the visitors centre as mentioned by a previous reviewer.
If you have a wheelchair there are some accessible paths, again checking at the visitor centre for advice is recommended.
If you would like to access most areas of the chase, you can always hire a Fieldmaster.
