Another sports bar with tv’s coming at you from every angle. Having said that the bar is modern with lots of room and a contemporary feel. Wadsworths 6x was good when I was there.

very modern and open pub with big tables and lots of room. Serves Badger and Ferret which are kept in good condition. Bar staff are attentive and they apparently do good food. Good selection of wines as well.

This is another decent Ossett brewery pub with a fine selection of real ales. Quite a small pub but with a warm atmosphere with a snug and a main room. Outdoor heater for smokers. Staff are friendly and knowledgable about the beers they serve.

This is a well laid out store and the staff are really friendly and helpful. However they do tend to stuff things in at Christmas and this can be a bit tiresome. Good electrical section and the fishmonger is really knowledgeable.

All in all this is a really convenient store near the town centre. Good choice and easy to park. However if you do park here beware. You should get your parking payment back if you spend £5 more on goods in the store. The staff are suppose to take it off your bill but sometimes they “forget”. Happened to me twice until I got clued up and now I insist on cash in hand as soon as I’ve handed over my parking receipt.

Been here twice for a drive through and you would have thought in this day and age of electronic tills that they could get the change right. However no. Overcharged twice by 40p and 70p. We only go there because my girls insist on the kids meal with the free toy.

Small pub with a eight well kept beers including Timothy Taylors. Does have its ups and downs depending on who the manager is. Room on left as you walk in has a nice homely atmosphere with no music and talking being the only form of entertainment. Room on the right generally has sports on the tv and can get quite crowded if there is a good match on. Look out for their own beer festival during the summer which is worth a visit.

Good open bar with a small selection of real ales Ducks IPA was very tasty and well kept. Leading off from the main bar is a large room used as the bistro which by all accounts (my wifes) serves fantastic food. Another smaller room has large tables for eating and drinking on with surfing scenes being played on the lcd screens dotted around the room. They also have a happy hour but not sure about the days or times

Big open pub with tv room to the side. Two real fires and at least eight real ales to sample from. When I went in on Saturday night it was packed but because the room is open it didn’t feel full. They also have a regular jazz night on Thursdays.

Friendly and modern pub with a very decent pint of Pedigree. The food was very good but a little expensive at £5.50 but that depends on your budget. Bar staff couldn’t do enough to help us and our kids. Would go again.
