If I am really stuck when trying to buy some shoes my last big hope to find what I am looking for is to take a trip to Brantano’s, which is where I leave a happy girl.
The store is very big and all shoes are set out in sections so for example you have one section with only size 6 shoes and one section with only size 7 ect this is a very handy thing because if you find a pair of shoes you like you know they are going to fit you and they have your size, instead of going to a normal shoe store thinking you’ve found the shoes you need then asking for your size and they don’t have it, then having to start searching all over again. Down side to this store is that it is actually really expensive I wanted a pair of black shoes for a wedding and the only pair decent enough for the occasion were £42!!! I bought them as I only had an hour to spare before the wedding but I didn’t end up wearing them and I definitely swiftly took them back for a refund.

Barrett shoes has been a shoe shop in my life since I was very little, I remember my mum taking me there when I was about 6years old. I don’t shop there as much as I used to but it is still a store I visit when I am looking for a pair of shoes.
The store sells men’s and women’s shoes, all shoes a pretty much reasonably priced. The only thing a bit disappointing about this store is that I find on occasions this shoe store is filled with one style of shoe when that particular shoe is in fashion, when I find it like this I walk in and then its straight back out. I have bought some decent shoes from this store and at a good price.
The shop is a decent size too and staff seem very friendly.

I found this company when I decided to try and set up my own business, after much thought and consideration I decided to give them a call and ask about buying their bouncy castle packages, they have start up packages for people just getting into the business. These new packages consist of bouncy castles, pegs, Blower, sack truck, crash mats, rope, repair pack, extension leads. At the time I was also told that they were doing a special promotion and that I could have my telephone number painted onto the front of the bouncy castle for free instead of it costing the usual price of £50. I thought this was a great deal and accepted. They had my private telephone number and a few days later I emailed to ask if it was too late to get my business number painted on instead to which they replied that’s fine. When I received my bouncy castles I was slightly disappointed due to the fact that they had painted on my private number and if I did want people to see my number to be able to contact me, you can’t see it any way because it is painted in green and the bouncy castle is red. I tried to contact them to say they had put the wrong number on but they then decided to be impossible to get hold of, after this I needed to buy something else from them and all of a sudden the were contactable again. Even with this mishap I would still buy from them because they are good value for money and don’t get things wrong too often.

I have to admit that I only ever rarely shopped at boots until I was able to take advantage of their advantage card (no pun was intended there). It is a great store because you can buy pretty much everything you need under one roof which I am definitely a great fan of. I find that I tend to buy most of my holiday items from here such as sun tan lotion, sunglasses and fly sprays and bite creams. You can also get photos developed at many boots stores. They sell baby clothes, beauty products, electricals such as hair dryers ect and fragrance. They also have a pharmacy where you can buy your prescriptions. I think boots is well known for its 3 for 2 products, which make good stocking fillers and save you some cash. The staff are always very helpful and friendly and they have plenty of tills with staff on them all the time, you rarely get an unstaffed till.

St ives bay Holiday Park in Cornwall is where I used to go on holiday with my two sisters, two brothers and stepdad. I have to say we used to have so many adventures and so much fun, I have so many memories of this place.
You can stay either by camping, caravanning or staying in a chalet, I have experienced all 3 my favourite was staying in a caravan but the chalet was just as good. Camping is also very good as they have showers, launderettes and a local shop ect so you have everything you need. They have various playgrounds and an arcade and a pub where they also host bingo, the beach is very nice which isn’t too far from Newquay. St. ives has a security entrance and you are given a square sticker to place on your car window so you do not have to get stopped every time you want to get back in to the holiday park. I would definately recommend this as a holiday in the UK.

The empire used to be known as flamingo’s back in the day (I only know this because my mum and step dad used to work there) so we always used to get free ice skating ect they were amazing days. Empire is now pretty much redundant, it is no where near as popular as it used to be, I believe this to be because this is now classed as the old part of the city (the bit that was first built when Milton Keynes was being built). I must admit this part of the town is looking a bit tired. Empire as a nightclub when I was a teenager used to host a lot of foam parties, not that I was ever allowed to attend. A little while ago I had a chance to work at Empire behind the bar and I must admit the outside does not do it justice, because inside it was perfectly fine, it is a very big venue which has numerous bars including a V.I.P area and bar located upstairs. So inside it is just as good as most of the other clubs in the theatre district.

The jam jar is a little tea, coffee and cake restaurant just off of the St ives beach.
They sell amazing home made cakes, a slice of cake and a nice cup of tea after a day of adventure on the beach is definitely the best way to end the day. You can both eat and drink outside on the benches and enjoy the sunshine with the view of the beach or you can sit inside a grey small bricked building called the jam jar which is where it gets its name from, it isn’t just a dull grey bricked building though it’s the whole feature of the coffee shop and has to be seen to be appreciated. It is an amazing little place which has to be visited just to see who wonderful it actually is, I still have great memories of it and hope to visit there again someday soon.

I remember my first visit to city limits like it was yesterday, even as I walked through the entrance I was so amazed by how it looked. There is so much to do here from bowling, visiting the restaurants and pubs, playing pool and having a drink with your friends. I even like the little village bit where there are benches where you can sit and look up to the ceiling and see the stars (not real ones) but it is all just as good and the outsides of the restaurants are made to look like character pretend house it’s a nice little place to sit and chill for a while. They also have an arcade where you can play video games, ice hockey, 10p money machines and fruit machines. This is just a taste of what they have to offer. I would highly recommend you visit here for a fun day out; there is so much for the whole family to do.

Blue inc is a menswear store which can be found near BHS.
It is a very fashionable men’s retailer which sells brands such as No excess, Twisted soul, Police, Ben Sherman, NY, Blend and Life and glory to name a few.
From this store you can buy jeans, trousers, t-shirts, shirts, jackets, tops, shoes and accessories. Accessories range from scarf’s, hats, gloves, bags, ties, socks, watches, wallets, cufflinks, belts and some fragrance. So the list is pretty much endless for the boys who shop here, a great range of items to choose from, overall a recommended store with excellent affordable prices.

The 02 store I think is the quirkiest phone store around, the design of their store always seems to change at one point they had these blue lights across the whole windows. When I went in there recently they had patches of fake grass around that store which makes a nice change from your standard phone store. What I also like about this store is the fact that when you walk in you do not instantly get badgered and constantly asked by sales assistants “can I help you” a million times over, I really hate it when the sales men do this, so because of this reason this is by far the best store for that reason alone. You can buy phones from here for £20 up to the apple iphone, contract phones and pay as you go phones.
