This used to be alright from what i can remember and yes i remember the sourz towerz and yes they were great.
It is now known as the scream bar but i think i prefered the penny theatre name and also the sign. the sign was pretty cool and pretty freaky. The painting itself was called scream which is why the ended up changing the name i think but then they got rid of the sign? i don’t understand that one myself.
Have never eaten here but drunk lots! good beer on tap and friendly bar staff.

Its true, the guy here has a serious problem with …..customers??!
i know what a selling point and a way to make people come back. His wife/partner is indeed very rude too but i’ve only met her the once. There’s not a lot more to say on these two.
The pub itself isn’t that bad and you’d think that maybe they’d run it better as it could get a really big crowd in there.
We have a friend who worked there for one day and got left there by the manager too! She went in as a waitress, ended up as waitress/barmaid/potwash etc. Apparently she didn’t go back for her wages as she was scared he would make her work again and so just kept the tips!
A few weeks ago i saw they were advertising a Jazz night but i’m not sure how that ended and whether or not it went ahead? could’ve maybe been a good night for them?

Nothing but a rude welcoming normally which is always a bit off putting when you’re going into get fags but get a stony look back. lol. Its a shame really because the shop over the road is much more polite and they always smile and greet you. Problem is parking up this road and when the parking outside the other shop is chocker block its just so much quicker to run into the alldays. Oh well.
There is one woman who works here who is infact lovely and will always welcome you with a smile but she only seems to be there saturdays, so its the rest of the week you have to worry about.

Always had some really nice filling food here. The drinks they do are great but they are expensive so watch out for the prices on some of the cocktails. They do a great rack of ribs in a jack daniels glaze sauce and it is so good that i can never leave one!
i also have had a great burger here before and it was cooked really well and i would definately go back for another. My nearest one is actually bluewater but i had a great deal in the covent gardens one for good and sins menu which they did a while back so i’m not sure if they still do it. There are also great desserts. Worth a visit in my eyes.

Haven’t ever eaten here but the menu looks good. The special board when we were last there though seemed to have a lot of fish on there which isn’t a problem for me but others it really could be!
The drinks are always served well here and the staff are friendly.
Nice interior and feels homely. The exterior is nice aswell and there is also a nice smoking area provided.

I had the best meal here with my girlfriend. We went here a few months ago and the food was really tasty and the service was great. We had a middle aged man serving us and he was hilarious. He really made us feel welcome and we had a very enjoyable stay.
The food was also really quite large and definately filled us up. I had the roast chicken and didn’t quite expect to be leaving any as i don’t normally! Prices were good as well.
5 stars all round.

The food here was amazing! I really enjoyed it and it was so tasty.
The staff were very friendly and i will definately return when next in Greenwich.
The whole pub impressed me and as others have said the barrels are very cool. Not too comfy but cool.
Good prices here and definately a place to visit. Nice on a warm evening as you can sit on the river side and watch the world go by.

Its an alright cinema. i 've been here and yes enjoyed myself. But just as much as i do at others. The Service is nice and definately an upward mark. But it hasn’t done anything to jump out and make it special. At the end of the day it is an odeon and you expect there to be some good service from these.

Always keep it open for you if you turn up late, the staff are indeed some of the friendliest staff i’ve ever come across.
the decor is really nice just not what you would expect from an indian…
the food is absoutely lovely and always comes out nicely presented. Defiantely somewhere i will go again and again.

i can’t say i care much for this place, it really is just not somewhere i enjoyed ever going. It is just one of them places that really seems to speak for itself, the lighting as you go in is dull and just already seems to give it that really unwelcoming invitation.
It is overpriced and the food is really horrible. The oval circualar shaped middle room opens it out and it is one part of this pub i don’t actually mind. But i really don’t ever see me going back even when i do pop in to greenwich.
Again the ’’early ushering in’’ has also been noticed by myself and obviously others on here. Definately makes me angry as i’m a smoker and lets face it, i’ve already been pushed outside….i expect to be able to sit down in a area designated yet the gypsy moth just seems to ignore this and penalise the smokers and the other people enjoying the outdoors are made to come in as well. Bit of a joke really as i wouldn’t expect my girlfriend to go outside onto the street of a night on her own to go for a smoke, and that obviously what other people are having to do…..I just think its wrong.
