This is a very very unusual little bijoux place for anyone in the know..........The corner house is a cinema, art gallery and cafe / restaurant situated next to Manchester Oxford Road train station. It hosts art exhibitions and screens art house and cult movies. There is also a little shop where you can buy books, gifts and cards.

The cinema is popular with students and has good sound and picture quality. I went there to watch Mulholland Drive by David Lynch there because no other cinema was screening it. The cafe is great for post cinema drinks and a meal with a good menu featuring modern dishes such as haloumi and couscous salad, mmmmmmmmmmm.

An amazingly slick airport which appears to be built around a hotel! The whole operation is slick and efficient and we have often travelled through here at christmas and the decorations are ourstanding. This airport always feels like we have 'come home’ when we land here…..

We love this place for a long weekend or a mid week break. Yes it is pricey, but we book when we find money off codes and use tesco vouchers to eat at some of the restuarants so it does not prove too expensive. The setting is gorgeous and when you are in your villa it feels like youa re in the middle of a forest all on your own. The wildlife that visit the patio is unbelievable, deer, squirrels millions of birds, and rabbits, foxes…the list is endless and all you ahve to do is sit wuietly with a cuppa!!
The aquadome is lovely and the pool is to die for, especially the heated outdoor bit when the weather is frosty and cold….highly recommended…go for it!!

This site has saved me soooooooooo much money in the past few years and the financial advice is sound and sensible. I am a huge fan of Martin Lewis he is so clever with money. I log on at least onc a day to see what bargains are to be had!!

This is one of M & S better stores. Large, bright and plenty of room between the stock and displays. Friendly, helpful staff. There is a foreigh currency desk shich always seems to offer the best rates. The store is on 2 floors with an escalator or lift to help you change floors. The food hall is large and well stocked. There is a choice of 4 places to eat. 2 coffe shops, 1 takeaway and the best bit the Delit Bar which is situated in the food hall. The menu is limited and slightly on the pricey side. It is however freshly prepared, some of the preparation happens in front of your eyes. Unfortunately there are often items not available on the menu because they have run out. This always seems a bit silly when you are sitting in the middle of a well stocked food hall. You sit on high stools at a high counter. This can be slightly difficult to negotiate for the older generation, me included, the chairs are very heavy and difficult to move. At busy times you will have to queue. EVen with missing menu items and awkward seats and queues I keep going back for more.

love shopping at TJ Hughes! No two visits are the same, as they completely change their stock regularly, so if you see something you like, make sure you get it then, 'cause it won’t be there next week. The prices are usually excellent, but don’t get carried away and assume everything’s cheap, as I’ve always found the toys a bit pricey.

TJ Hughes stocks mens, womens and children’s clothes (inlcuding shoes), toys, electrical appliances (like toasters, health grills), luggage, curtains and other home wares. Clothes are often branded, but at real knock-down prices. They also sell make-up and perfume for the ladies.

The place is pretty big, and there’s lots to look at. Things could be better laid out, as it’s just piled high.

Parking is fine, though the whole retail park ceases up in the run up to Christmas (but doesn’t everywhere!).

I think this is a great sized shopping centre and has almost everything you need under one roof. Add a massive Sainsbury’s to the list and i’d be surprised if you couldn’t get all your Christmas presents here this year…I say this because we did around three years ago. With a great selection of major chain stores and some small stall holders selling funky gifts and gadgets and on to the large Debenhams store you are spoilt for choice. It has a very nice cafe upstairs which is placed central to the main shopping and is easily acessible and great for a coffee and an unwind before you continue shopping or head off home.

This is a very special city centre experience that is not to be missed folks.

I know most of the points have already been covered by other reviewers, but I felt it may be useful to have another view. This is my favourite pub. Unknown in my early drinking days, it has come to prominence in the last few years, mainly because of the excellence of its real ale.

It is regularly seen in various CAMRA publications and has won awards for the quality of the beer served here - a huge part of this has been due to the Cains beer always on tap. The Raisin Beer is to die for!
I also like the no nonsense decor. Wooden floors can be good, if looked after like this.
Another plus point is that, when you get an attack of the munchies, Tso’s is almost next door - an “all-you-can-eat” chinese at ridiculously low prices, then back into “the Doc’s”!

I and my children absolutely love this shop even though I have no children of my own yet. The shop has toys, clothes, crockery etc all of which is Disney themed so if you have a child who is obsessed with any Disney character this is definitely the shop. I regularly go in here looking for fun presents for my adult female friends as well as my friends children. I haven’t come across a single staff member yet who hasn’t been extremely helpful. Some of the items are a little pricey but good quality so is worth the bit extra. I cannot recommend this shop enough.

A well stocked shop which has a large range of toys and presents.

As with previous Early Learning Centre shops in Cardiff there are toys to keep the children occupied while the adults get in some sneaky Christmas shopping. This is always a great bonus because if the children are happy and content then the adults can concentrate on what they do best!!!!!!!!

It can, however, get very busy at times and stock can run out. The staff though are very helpful in ordering and helping you find stock in other shops.

There is a great selection of toys which are reasonably priced so it can be quite handy for buying a treat present if your child has been good - bribery works wonders at times!!
