This restaurant has closed down and been replaced by a Chicken Cottage! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I was really, really sad when this happened. Terrible news for the area, eating here was a real treat and the last thing Shepherd’s Bush needs is another Chicken Bloody Cottage.

This cosy little Italian is perfect for an intimate lunch or dinner when you want good food and atmosphere without forking out. You can get three courses for under £10, which is fantastic value in London.

Upon arrival you are given a basket of toast and tapanade which sets the tone for the rest of the meal which has an irresistibly genuine Italian taste.

The small restaurant is decorated in quite an old fashioned style which is pleasant but has a slightly creepy touch with paintings of children looking in as if looking through windows into the restaurant. If you can get over that then you’ll have a perfectly lovely evening with good food at great value.
